Good afternoon BCS Families!

I hope that everyone is doing well during these times of uncertainty!

Our BCS Distance Learning program is set to begin tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.

Students in grades K-2 will be able to view lessons through a YouTube Channel that has been created by their teachers.  Students in grades 3-5 will be able to view lessons uploaded by their teachers via Google Classroom.

For students in grades K-2, an email was sent from teachers highlighting what needs to be done daily along with important log-in and password details for their i-Ready accounts.

For students in grades 3-5, an email was also sent from teachers highlighting what needs to be done daily.  A separate email was sent from Ms. Jones to all parents in grades 3-5 with important log-in and password information for Google Classroom and i-Ready as well.

You will receive updates via email from our Assistant Principal, Mrs. Sanders during the week.  Please also check the school’s website daily as we post information/updates as we receive them.

Teachers will be checking in with their student’s everyday just to make sure that they are ok and to answer any questions that they may have about their assignments.  Attendance will be taken based on student participation so please make sure that your child is participating daily and completing assignments.

Teachers are available from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and then from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday. “Arts Day” is scheduled for Fridays.  Classroom teachers will be planning on Fridays, but will make themselves available for any questions that you may have during the following time frames (9am-12p.m. and 1-4p.m).

This is a time to show patience and grace as we are all new to this process.  We will remain open and flexible as a school so please communicate any questions or concerns that you may have to your child’s teacher and if you are in need of further assistance, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
